**CRIME ALERT**

It has been reported to Lone Star Management that several vehicles have been broken into/stolen in your community recently. Lone Star and the Board would like to urge residents to look out for each other and remember to lock your doors and do not leave anything that might tempt a thief to break into your vehicle. If you see anything out of the ordinary or suspicious please do not hesitate to contact the police. The old "better to be safe than sorry" rule definitely applies in this situation.

It's that time of year again and the weeds are in full force so take a moment to visit the committee link to receive helpful tips from Calloways Nursery. Please remember to treat your yards and flower beds and also remember to edge those curb lines so that you do not receive notices from your HOA.

Your Board of Directors and Landscape Committee are very excited about the upcoming Yard of the Month program being sponsored by Calloway's Nursery. Calloway's will also be providing helpful tips for your lawn and garden each month. Under the "Residents" tab click on Committees to view the helpful tips provided each month. IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Please remember to contact the police if you see anyone at the pool after hours or jumping the fence. If the vandalism continues it could affect your dues in the future so as a community you must work together. Pool opens May 1st and will be closed for the season on October 1st.

Every so often a group of musicians come together and form a band that brings a fresh new blend to captivate a listening audience. Drawing influence from musical heroes and various genres of music, RAC has developed a sound of their own - a sound that can only be sculpted by these six individuals. Texas Instruments Jazz Band

Friday, August 13th, 2010 Start Time: 8:00 PM End Time: 9:30 PM Location: Courtroom Theater

The Texas Instruments Jazz Band is a full 20-piece big band consisting of saxes, trombones, trumpets, a rhythm section, and a vocalist. The band is organized through the Texins Association (Dallas, Texas) of Texas Instruments. Membership is open to all people eligible for Texins Association membership. The band is a non-profit organization and all earnings are used to support the operating expenses of the band. Tickets: $10 To purchase tickets go to mckinneyperformingartscenter.org
